Jungle Arcade Game

This jungle arcade game is an enjoyable romp where you have to guide a young boy home safely avoiding dangerous African jungle perils on the way. In 1974 there were reports of an eight year old boy found by soldiers in Burundi who had apparently been raised by grey monkeys in the jungle. He was taken to a Burundi orphanage where he was observed jumping up and down when excited and making monkey cries, but it turned out to be a local boy who was autistic and had never lived in the wild, just his behaviour was somewhat wild! The most notable story of children being raised in the jungle by animals is probably that of William Mildin who was shipwrecked off the African coast in 1868 and then looked after by apes until 1883 when he was found and returned to England to assume his title of the Earl of Streatham. It is believed his story was the inspiration for the Tarzan stories.
